Outfit: Pastels by The Palace

When I initially started thinking about going interrailing, I told myself I wouldn't surrender to the typical 'omg I'm on a GAP YAH, look how cultured I am "ethnic" clothing look. Not very 'me.' But I'm telling you, staying *stylish (*read as: what I THINK is stylish) whilst traveling with a backpack is a real struggle. I packed a few 'key' pieces, that I thought would work for a few different occasions, and this dress was one of them. It's a floaty, pastel, relaxed dress from H&M which on this case, is working for a tour around Schonbrunn Palace.
OUTFIT: Dress from H&M (Similar Here, Here and Here), Shoes from ASOS (Similar Here and Here), Sunglasses from Tiger (similar Here and Here)
I paired the dress with simple chucks, as we were doing a lot of walking and left my jewellery and tan to do the rest of the talking (although arguably the tan was thin at this point!). We took these photos in the gorgeous orangery in the palace grounds which provided a great backdrop as well as gorgeous blue skies. As I write this now, I'm already dreading a January filled with outfit shots set in dreary old England!

It took a while to coach Tom, travelling partner, boyfriend and for this trip- blog photographer, into his role as outfit shot taker. To show him what I wanted, I started taking photos of his outfits, which resulted in some hilarious outtakes and shots I just had to share.

Thank you to Tom for these photos and shout out to the beautiful Palace for providing the perfect backdrop. To read about my must 'sees/eats/dos' in Vienna, click here.
