MAC Alluring Aquatics Refined Golden Bronzing Powder Review

Other than the Disney collections and the Marlyn Monroe collection, I'm not much of a MAC collections gal. They bring out so many, some times its really hard to keep up! But as soon as I saw the MAC Alluring Aquatics collection on a trip into town, I had to buy a compact then and there. In fact, my lovely Dad terated me to it, so thanks Dad! If you've been a reader of my blog or follower of my youtube channel for any amount of time then you will know that I love turquoise and mermaids. This product and in fact all the packaging of the MAC Alluring Aquatics collection just screams 'Summer' 'Mermaids' and 'majesty' at me. Aha.
I picked up the MAC Bronzing Powder in Refined Golden. Its incredibly finely milled, meaning even though it looks dark, it can be applied lightly and doesn't feel heavy at all. Its not as glittery as it looks in the pan, but it definitely gives you a shimmer, which I think will be really lovely for Summer. It highlights the cheeks as well as adding dimension. I would say that if you are looking for a bronzer exclusively to contour, this isn't your bag. Its nice to add a bit of shape, but for hardcore cheek bone carving, stick to something more matte.

This makes me look so healthy and I can see myself using it heavily on my eyelids for a neutral eye which would be really nice. I'm going to be putting this in my travel makeup bag for the Summer, as the packaging is sturdy and it comes with a nice big mirror, meaning its perfect for on the go touch ups. Refined Golden retails for £22 and can be purchased online, hereVisit my depop here, and don't forget to follow me on bloglovin' here.
