I write till my fingers look like a bouquet of roses

So, I know you've seen this skirt before, but the first time I showed it here I went all out. I wanted to prove it to be wearable and cute for the day time, too. In this case, a shopping trip in Brighton for Mother's Day gifts with my friend Rosie. (She is the babe who has been taking my past three outfit photos for me!) It was a successful day, as both Rosie and I found the perfect gifts for our Mums. I won't mention what I got my Mum, in case she reads this post before the day! But, I promise to show you all when she opens it. In my opinion, Brighton's Laines are the best place to find unique and gorgeous gifts for anyone. No matter how fussy!

Here is my new resident photographer, best friend and roommate, Rosie. You may recognise her from this post. Shes got bags of style, so definitely deserved to feature on The Camera's Lying, especially considering the work shes been doing for me, lately, snapping away at my outfits in the cold! You can follow Rosie on twitter here, and be sure to leave her some love in the comments below!

Lastly, I wanted to leave you with a few snaps I took of some of the boutiques in Brighton, we came across whilst shopping. I'm a firm believer that Brighton is a city you can go to 100 times over and STILL find something new to look at, every, single, time. I'm so lucky to be studying and thus living here at them moment!

Lastly, if anyone wants to buy me those Vivienne Westwood shoes, I'd be grateful! Cool thanks, bye.
