March Glossybox Feat. Harrods

I think the majority of the beauty blogging community sucked in their breath when they heard Glossybox and Harrods were teaming up for March. I was excited and nervous, Harrods are reputed for being at the forefront of high end beauty, but how would they fair arranging a £12.95 sample box?

I must admit, I love the packaging. It really encompasses the luxury and class Harrods up holds, whilst sticking to the traditional Glossybox tissue paper and ribbon combo.

I received: Bliss Blood Orange and White Pepper Body Butter, Revive Intensite Creme Lustre in SPF30, Clarins Extra Firming Body Cream, Lancรดme Juicytube in Toffee R'N'B 93 and Versace Vanitas Versace EDP. Initially I was disappointed I missed out on a Burberry lipstick, but getting a Lancome Juicytube is just as good in my opinion. I like the selection I received, although I'm sad to say no matter HOW MUCH I may love the Revive Creme I will NOT EVER be able to afford the full size version. £235 ARE YOU JOKING?!

I was quite pleased to get the body butter, it has an incredibly strong scent which filled my entire room when I tried the product out, however it doesn't stay that scented for long so perhaps this will be a good 'wake me up' product for the mornings! Its quite a generous sample size too, at 50ml.

I'm a Clarins fan so I was pleased to receive this Firming Cream, although perhaps a different Clarins product would've been nicer as I'd already got a body moisturizer in the box. But then again, as a student expensive Clarins products are hard to come by so I won't complain too much!

Wow, the Revive Lustre Creme. I can honestly say I'm lost for words. I was positively ASTOUNDED when a google search on it revealed the 60ml tubs price. At £235 this creme is definitely the highest of high end and I'm almost a little frightened to try it out- what if I fall in love? What if its incredible??!

I was pleased to see a lip product in my box, even if it wasn't a Burberry Lipstick. I'm a lip product junkie and had been hankering after the fabled Juicytubes for a while. This one smells FAB (although quite sickly -if you aren't a foodie person: beware!) and leaves a pretty sheen on the lips with a gold iridescent. I was surprised at how non sticky this product is, a big thumbs up here!

Lastly comes the perfume, perhaps the least exciting product in the box. I like the scent and the cute little sample bottle had me cooing, but I just don't feel perfumes have a place in beauty boxes. Samples are easily obtainable at department stores- the places practically force them on you, so I don't feel these are something   I want included in my £12.95 monthly box.....

Overall I'm pleased with my box, I'm interested to try the things I received -something I can't say for last months box. It was definitely worth my £12.95.

Did you get a Glossybox? Did you like it?
