Outfit: Views from the Bastion

Another day, another OOTD from interrailing, this time: Budapest. Ah, a classic 'I'm travelling hand luggage only' look- simple high waisted shorts and crop top teamed with a tonne of jewellery to give off a 'put together' vibe. Simple? Yes. Effective? Well, if you ignore the fact my cheap gold necklace turned my neck green, yes! On this day we had a full day of sightseeing, including a hike up to Prater park, which meant trainers and socks were essential. Look, you can't be a high fashun blogga and survive an uphill trek in 30 degree heat. You just can't.
OUTFIT: Crop top: Pretty Little Thing, Shorts: ASOS, Necklace: Primark (Similar Here), Saddle Bag: Primark (Similar Here), Sunglasses: Old Spitalfields Market (Similar Here) & Shoes: Converse.
These photos were taken at the breathtaking Fisherman's Bastion in Budapest. Situated on the Buda side of the River Danube, Fisherman's Bastion was built in the late 1800s and rebuilt after it's near entire destruction in World War II, and aren't we glad it was! With it's neo-gothic architecture, white walls and incredible viewing platforms, it was one of my favourite sights to visit in Budapest. For more ideas of what to visit in Budapest, check out my guide here, until next time, when we visit Ljubljana.
