Over a year ago, founder of Thrive Causemetics, Karissa Bodnar lost her friend to cancer. She wanted to create something wonderful which would help other women going through the same thing, in memory of her friend. Thrive Causemetics was born. They are false lashes, designed to sit beautifully on the eyelids regardless of whether you have natural eyelashes for a base or not. To go one further, Thrive Causemetics promise that for every pair of lashes bought, one pair will be donated to a woman going through cancer treatments.Above, you can see me wearing the Robin lashes, which are the most voluminous lashes on offer. They also have two more natural versions. I wore these lashes to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 premiere and I felt a million dollars in them. They stayed put all night with the Thrive Causemetics lash glue and felt comfortable. They were easy to apply, especially on their first application, which is always the trickiest.
I love the idea that my penchant for beauty is adding a little bit of light to someone elses life, even if it is just a beauty pick me up. You can check out Thrive Causemetics here.
I was sent my lashes for review purposes c/o Thrive Causemetics.
