#LFW BirchBox

When Birch Box contacted me asking if I'd like to review their September box- the '#LFW' one, I jumped at the chance. I'm doing a few London Fashion Week bits over the next few days so I thought it would be super handy! I've never tried Birch Box, older subscribers of mine will know I used to pay for GlossyBox every month, but stopped when I started uni, so I was excited to try.

The excitement of the rectangular box dropping through my letter box hit me immediately, like it used to with GlossyBox, I will always love the idea of a few choice products arriving at my door, once a month, for me to try. Birchbox's products came to me in a cute cloth bag- perfect for transporting your London Fashion Week essentials in your handbag and much less messy than the GlossyBox 'decorative pink worms' that their products nestle in. (NB: They aren't actual worms, they just resemble them.)
The Products Included:
1) Aromatherapy Associates Revive Body Gel (Full size retails at £31.00)
This product smells divine but my gosh thirty one pounds for a body gel seems insane. However, it does claim to improve circulation and even skin tone. It feels nice and cooling on the skin and I'll definitely be applying it to my feet after a long day of street style snapping in London!

2) Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Nourishing Body Lotion (Fulls size retails at £18.00)
I love Molton Brown products so I was excited to see this cute little bottle in the set, it smells yummy and Molton Brown body lotions are always super moisturising.

3) Reverence de Bastien (£16.00)
I love the colour of this nail polish and its full sized, woop! The colour is perfect for Autumn and I will definitely be rocking it soon. The brush is relatively inoffensive, fairly wide and not too long or too short. It goes opaque in two coats, I can't comment on the chipping side of things yet but its such a lovely colour I don't mind!

4) Bioderma Sensibio H2O (Full Size retails at £9.99)
I was super excited for this item- I've tried Bioderma (I know, practically a cardinal sin in blogger land!) I used it to take my makeup off tonight and I don't have any complaints yet, it works well and watch this space, I may be a convert!

5) Green and Black's White Chocolate (Full Size retails at £2.29)
This didn't even last 5 minutes, out of the box, into the mouth. I love chocolate, especially Green & Black's- so luxurious, so this was a cute little addition to the box! AND its been scientifically proven: chocolate does not cause spots. Boom.

6) ModelCo. Party Proof Lipstick (set of three retails for £15.50)
I'd never heard of, or tried Model Co. so I'm excited to give this a whirl. It swatches nicely, without dragging and smells really sweet. The colour is a lot sheerer than I'd imagined from the way it looks in bullet form but its still a nice peachy pink shade.

So there you have it, my little review of the London Fashion Week BirchBox. Its worrying how tempted I now am to subscribe to Birchbox for monthly treats! Do you subscribe to a monthly beauty box service?
