MAC Double feature Palette in '8': Review

Another great blog sale find: MAC Double Feature Palette in the shade '8.' I believe MAC released these duos last year as past of a collection. It annoys me that you can't find out the names of the individual shades, or that the palettes have proper names (numbers, just DO NOT suffice). Other than that, however, I'm really pleased with this little find.

I believe all together, MAC released 8 different sets, in a ray of colours. I think they retailed for around £20 pounds, although I got this in a blog sale for £5. Bargain!

The packaging is amazing, its magnetized, which makes it really easy to open, yet once its shut, it stays shut. No matter what you put your makeup bag through!

In terms of formulation, they are both shimmery, yet the coral is a lot easier to work with and comes of way more pigmented with the iridescent blue//purple colour. However, this issue is easily corrected by slighted dampened before picking up product. Research tells me that the coral is a 'Frost' and the blue a 'Satin' finish.

They aren't the most pigmented of MAC's shades, but you can create some great looks with these rather unique shadow colours! Below is a look I've created using the two shades.

I can see this little palette becoming a great addition to my collection. Have you found any great steals on blog sales recently?
